REQUIRED SUBJECTS
NINTH YEAR: 8 courses including Religion, English, Math, Science, Global History I, World
Language, Physical Education and either Art, Music or Performing Arts, for a total of 7 credits.
TENTH YEAR: 8 or 9 courses including Religion, English, Math, Science, Global History II, World
Language, Physical Education and one elective course( Writing Workshop/ Computer Applications, Art, Music or Performing Arts) for a total of 7 credits. The AP exam is required
in all AP courses.
ELEVENTH YEAR: 8 or 9 courses including Religion, English, United States History and
Government, Math, Science, Physical Education, Health and elective courses for a total of 7
credits. Juniors wishing to take an additional full credit course may defer the study of Health
until senior year. The AP exam is required in all AP courses.
TWELFTH YEAR: A combination of half and/or full year courses totaling at least 6 1/2 credits including Religion, English, Participation in Government, Economics, Physical Education and three elective courses for a total of 6 1/2 or 7 credits. Elective courses will be offered only if a sufficient number of students register. The AP exam is required in all AP courses.

COURSE SELECTION
Careful consideration is given to developing each student's program of study. When students submit their final course selections with parental approval, these choices are considered final. Course changes are made only for the most compelling reasons. PARENTS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR SUCH CHANGES BEING SURE TO INCLUDE THE REASONS FOR THE CHANGE. A $100 COURSE CHANGE FEE SHOULD ACCOMPANY THE REQUEST. THESE REQUESTS CANNOT ALWAYS BE ACCOMMODATED. COURSE CHANGE DEADLINES ARE PRINTED
IN THE CALENDAR.
