Academics

Holy Trinity students complete rigorous coursework within a safe and welcoming Catholic environment. All students earn a NYS Regents diploma with nearly 80% of the graduating class receiving a Regents Diploma with Advanced Distinction - a rate almost 30% higher than the Long Island average.

Holy Trinity allows all students the opportunity to pursue college credit while in high school. Our students routinely earn 9 - 15 credits worth of college coursework, and can earn up to a full year's worth of credit. This is achieved through Advanced Placement courses and partnerships with St. John's University and Molloy College. The Class of 2017 earned nearly 1,200 total college credits prior to graduation.

Our 15:1 student to faculty ratio allows for a nurturing educational setting as well as personalized learning experiences for all students. All faculty members are NYS certified in their specific subject areas, with 98% of teachers currently holding an advanced degree.

In addition to class, our students may receive additional academic support after school hours. Our teachers all host extra help sessions for their subject areas. Also, our National Honor Society students are available in the Library every day after school for peer tutoring sessions.

Holy Trinity's classes utilize the Google Classroom learning platform to enhance our students' learning experience. All incoming freshmen also receive their own personal Chromebook which they use for in-class work as well as homework assignments.
