The Masters Program

Holy Trinity sponsors an academic recognition program called The Masters. This program promotes and celebrates academic achievement by recognizing those students who have achieved mastery in eight or more New York State Regents examinations. New York State has determined that mastery is achieved when a student successfully scores an eighty-five percent or above on a Regents examination.

The road to The Masters begins in freshman year when students take their first Regents examinations and ends with the awarding of the Holy Trinity Masters Pin in senior year. At the beginning of sophomore year those students who have achieved mastery in two Regents exams will receive a letter declaring them an Apprentice on the road to The Masters. Juniors will receive a certificate at the beginning of their third year noting that they are now Journeymen, having achieved mastery in at least five Regents examinations and the final phase begins in senior year when those students who have achieved mastery in at least eight Regents examinations will be awarded the Holy Trinity Diocesan High School Masters Pin.
