Holy Trinity’s motto is How High School Should Be. What does that mean to you?
Holy Trinity has been everything I imagined high school to be and more. I feel that I’ve received a stable foundation in education for college, grown immensely in my faith, and most importantly, made relationships with numerous people that will last a lifetime.
What is your favorite class this year? Why do you enjoy it?
My favorite class this year is AP Biology. In this class, we learn about topics that relate to the field of study I plan on pursuing in college. My favorite part of the class is the labs that we conduct once a week, usually involving hands-on experiments.
Has there been a teacher/coach/counselor/administrator at Holy Trinity who has positively influenced you? Please explain:
My lacrosse coach, Dave Kotowski, has influenced my self-image and my personal outlook on life. The way he encourages my teammates and me to be fully devoted to my team has impacted the way I carry myself through life. [He has taught me] sportsmanship skills, perseverance, and numerous other life lessons.
What has been a “highlight” of your time at Holy Trinity? Please describe a moment that you enjoyed and/or made you proud:
A highlight for me at Trinity was finally winning the soccer championship. After years of making it all the way to the finals…, we were ultimately successful in the last seconds of the final game in my senior year.
To what colleges are you applying? What is your intended major?
SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, Clemson University, University of North Carolina, Duke University, Northeastern University, Boston University, Colorado State, University of Colorado – Boulder, University of Central Florida, Miami University, and Elon University. I plan on majoring in Environmental Science.
What will you miss the most about Holy Trinity?
I will miss the family I’ve created at Holy Trintiy. From all of my friends to my past and current teachers to the administration, it will be so hard to let everyone go.
Do you have any advice for incoming Holy Trinity students?
Live every moment of high school to the fullest because high school [can be] some of the best years of your life. Reach out to people and make lasting relationships. Get involved as much as possible.
