An Important Message from the Deans Office:
At Holy Trinity, the safety and welfare of our students is our first priority. This is a reminder that students are to notify the Health Office if they are ill so they can be treated and evaluated in a safe, supervised environment. They are not to contact the parents on their own from a restroom, study hall, hallway, etc. Parents are asked to adhere to this policy, and to inform their child to report to the Health Office if they are not feeling well. As stated in the Holy Trinity Diocesan High School Student Handbook, a student will only be dismissed from school due to illness after the Health Office has contacted a parent and transportation has been arranged.
Any student who does not adhere to this policy will be considered illegally absent from school.
The dress code at Holy Trinity seeks to exhibit that learning is a serious business. Parents and students are equally responsible for the upkeep and appearance of the school uniform.
The school uniform should not be altered in any way, including the length and patterns of the girls' uniform skorts.
Parents will be responsible for purchasing a replacement item for any article of clothing that is altered, and students will be subject to disciplinary action.
Any student who is absent from a midterm, final exam or Regents exam will be asked to provide a note from a doctor.
Parents are reminded to monitor their child's cell phone activity, text messaging use, e-mail accounts, Internet activity, and accounts such as facebook.com and friendster.com.
According to the Holy Trinity Student Handbook, cell phones may not be used at any time during the school day. They are prohibited in the library at all times. Parents are asked to help us enforce this policy by not contacting their child during the school day.
In the event of an emergency where you need to contact your son or daughter during the school day, please contact the main office and your child will be reached. Thank you for your cooperation in this matter.
