Holy Trinity’s motto is How High School Should Be. What does that mean to you?
This motto means that Holy Trinity is the perfect example of how your four years of high school should be spent. Holy Trinity has been the best four years of my life so far!
What is your favorite class this year? Why do you enjoy it?
My favorite class this year is Economics which is taught by Mr. O’Neill. I enjoy this class because I hope to go into the business field and this gives me a feel for that major. Also, Mr. O’Neill is very comical.
Has there been a teacher/coach/counselor/administrator at Holy Trinity who has positively influenced you? Please explain:
Mrs. Hogan has been my biggest influence on the court and in the classroom. She has pushed me to reach for greatness. She has believed in me and has always had my back. Mrs. Hogan showed me how to succeed on the volleyball court and in my studies.
What has been a “highlight” of your time at Holy Trinity? Please describe a moment that you enjoyed and/or made you proud:
The “highlight” of my time at Holy Trinity would be when I was named All-League Player, MVP, and Top 25 Player for volleyball. This is a moment that I had [worked] for and the feeling is just indescribable. Also, my “highlight” is having my picture up on the wall!
To what colleges are you applying? What is your intended major?
I am applying to Boston University, Syracuse University, Ohio State University, Suffolk University of Boston, Purdue University, University of Rhode Island, George Washington University, Providence College, Catholic University of America, and Fairfield University. I intend to major in Business – Finance.
What will you miss the most about Holy Trinity?
I will miss the school spirit of Holy Trinity, how we all stuck together like a family, and the teachers. HT is full of so many great opportunities and experiences. I hope others get to experience it just like I did!
Do you have any advice for incoming Holy Trinity students?
Value every second. One day, you’re attending Holy Trinity and the next day, you’re not. You will miss it – trust me, I miss it already and I’m not even gone yet.
