A Special Time, Place and Spirit
August 8, 2020
Dear Members of the Holy Trinity Diocesan High School Community,
Happy feast day of St. Dominic, a great preacher of our Catholic Faith!
Since Governor Cuomo announced yesterday that schools may open in September, we are very excited to now finalize the details of our Re-Opening Plan. As always, the safety and well being of our students, faculty, and staff is our utmost concern.
Our plan is to bring all students back to Holy Trinity for in-school sessions. We are blessed to have a large campus and will maximize space in order to accommodate our students in a safe and responsible manner. More specific details will be forwarded to you during the coming week.
Many families have expressed their desire to return to in-person instruction at school, and we are excited to be able to do so. That said, we will offer a fully remote option for students whose educational and/or social-emotional needs would be best served in this manner. Within the next two weeks, all families will be asked to make an initial decision if you are planning for your child(ren) to return to campus or to be a part of the remote learning cohort.
Full details of the plan will be posted on the school website in the coming days and a series of virtual parent meetings will be scheduled to address questions. We at Holy Trinity Diocesan High School are most grateful for the trust that you have placed in us as we together strive to create a safe, effective, and faithful educational environment.
Once again, thank you for your understanding and support.
Joy and Peace,
JimGrillo
