"My coaching philosophy is to always work to be better than the previous performance. There is always room for improvement and the Varsity Kickline program can only grow and become better than the previous year! Plus, always have fun & put your heart into each and every performance!"
"There have been times as a dancer where I struggled with a specific technique or move and it can be frustrating, especially when your teammates are able to do it. Because of this, I worked to become a better dancer than I was the previous practice, performance, or season. I try instilling this in my team, especially when we are learning a new trick or technique because it allows them to see that with consistent practice comes unbelievable results. We are always working to be better than we were!"
"Being a Holy Trinity Titan athlete, from the kickline perspective, allows you to participate in all activities that you love doing! I have students who participate in Varsity Swim and Dance Company all year, along with being an active member of Varsity Kickline. At Holy Trinity, you are able to participate in the activities you love and are able to do so because of the coaches and staff that understand being versatile is important."
"Being the Varsity Kickline Coach, I am with my girls for a long time. Our season goes from May to March and we all grow very close with one another because of the time we spend together as a team... so it is hard to choose my favorite memory as a coach. Homecomings and Pep Rally always stand out to me because they are fun team-bonding days. But aside from all of the wonderful memories I have made with my teams throughout the years, one of my favorite moments would be watching a Titanette that came to us at tryouts her sophomore year, with no kickline experience, grow into a beautiful, talented dancer. Seeing her grow as a dancer and learn from myself and my assistant coach is one of the many reasons why I love coaching."
"My advice for students is similar to my coaching philosophy: Work hard, stay dedicated, and always try to be the better than who you were the practice, performance, game, competition, meet, etc. before. If you love your sport, you will love being a Titan athlete!"
