"My passion is coaching and helping student-athletes reach their potential. I take great pride and consider it a privilege to be able to do what I do. I look at each athlete as an individual and treat them as such. I believe it is my job to teach my athletes the importance of commitment, hard work, teamwork and that there are no shortcuts. When they are competing, they are representing themselves, their school, their coach and most important their school."
"I believe my coaching philosophy has been shaped by years of working in the field along with the blessing of raising 5 student-athletes of my own. I understand what it is like to be an athlete and also watching my own children compete. I understand that there are no short cuts and that athletes need to trust the process. Coaching is teaching and it is so much more than a game or just a race. Treating my athletes like I would my own children is most important to me."
"The student-athletes are outstanding and are motivated. The school cares about the athlete as a whole person and not just and athlete. One of my sons graduated from Holy Trinity and was a football/basketball player, his coaches and the administration helped him to get to the next level playing in college."
"I have had the blessing to coach some very talented athletes that have been NSCHSAA and CHSAA champs. Athletes that have placed at The Federation Meet and most recently qualified for Indoor Nationals, but the best coaching moment occurred before our spring season got shut down. It was one of the first practices for Spring track. I asked my captains to take over and teach the other athletes our mobility, warmup, and drills. I stepped back and watched how these young men explained, demonstrated and led the team with authority, respect, leadership, and knowledge. At that moment, I felt so proud to be a coach at Holy Trinity and of the leaders these young men had become."
"To all the student-athletes who are getting ready for this very exciting new chapter in their life, I say be prepared to work hard and trust the process. Being a high school student-athlete teaches you so many important lessons and nothing comes overnight but the rewards are plenty. Enjoy every moment, listen to your coaches and hard work beats talent! #TitanStrong"
