How would you describe your coaching philosophy? "Teaching the fundamentals of the game, proper etiquette, sportsmanship, having fun and the reasons why you enjoy playing this great sport."
Is there a particular personal athletic experience that has helped shape your coaching philosophy? "A particular experience that helped shape my coaching philosophy in this sport was watching my children grow up playing in the metropolitan junior golf tour and meeting the other parents and children who also played. Everyone got along so well and everyone was so nice. The game of golf is a good way for kids to learn how to be respectable, follow the rules, be honest, and kind to one another."
In your opinion, what is the advantage of being a Holy Trinity Titan athlete? "Coming into Holy Trinity as a student-athlete you would be welcomed as a new member of our family. The atmosphere at our school makes you feel like you’re at home. All of the alumni miss the days when they were a student-athlete at Holy Trinity. Many of them received college scholarships for athletics as well. Academically, Holy Trinity is one of the best schools on Long Island. As far as athletics, all of our coaches are very professional, experienced, and are very interested in seeing their kids succeed."
Best moment as a Holy Trinity Coach? "Being able to watch/coach Taylor the year she won the high school championship at Eisenhower Golf Course her senior year."
What is your advice to current middle school student-athletes as they prepare for High School Athletics? "My advice would be to keep practicing throughout the summer and to not be nervous coming into high school. It will be a great experience and many memories will be made."
