How would you describe your coaching philosophy? "I have values that I set for my team which are: Commitment, Hardworking, Enthusiastic, Attitude, and Polish.
I expect my team to embody these values and come together as one to be successful. I also like to have fun. As much as it is important to get down to business and work hard, it is important to be rewarded and have some team fun as well."
Is there a particular personal athletic experience that has helped shape your coaching philosophy? "Being a cheerleader for the New York Jets! Being on the team we also had Core Values that we were expected to follow and it shaped us into the athletes and individuals we are today. I was taught a great deal of self- discipline, professionalism, and time management skills. Having practice 3 times a week with commuting to New Jersey once a week was extremely time-consuming and exhausting. I learned when you want something bad enough, you don't give up on your dreams and goals. Without hustle, talent will only carry you so far!"
In your opinion, what is the advantage of being a Holy Trinity Titan athlete? "Being a part of the Titan Family! I feel that my team (and all Holy Trinity sports teams) become a lifelong family that has a very special bond. We work hard which results in blood, sweat, and tears, but we also laugh and smile every single practice which brings us close together."
Best moment as a Holy Trinity Coach? "When we placed 3rd at multiple competitions this year. The team has come such a long way. They worked hard and it paid off!"
What is your advice to current middle school student-athletes as they prepare for High School Athletics? "To put in the work NOW!! Start your training early so that when your season starts in High School you are ready to go and won't miss a beat."
